House and Pet Sitting in Trimingham

Meet Roops, this beautiful old gentleman was a greyhound who found a loving home in Trimingham, Norfolk. We were thrilled to give the owners a great first time experience of in home house and pet sitting.

Rupert (Roops to his friends) was a lucky boy as he lived a 2 minute walk across the field to the Coastal Path that took in breath taking views along the beach from the clifftop. He had two gentle walks along the path each day and spent much of the rest of the day snoozing on his favourite sofa or having a little cuddle with us.

Roops owners liked daily updates, so we sent regular photos and videos showing the fun he was having and love we were giving him. This is something we normally do anyway, but as this was the first time the owners had used live in house and pet sitters we wanted to ensure they felt fully relaxed while away that Roops was being well looked after and having a really happy time.

The owners review: This was the first in house sitters we’d had so we didn’t know what to expect. When Julie and Jonathan asked to sit for us, looking at their reviews and photos, I immediately felt comfortable with them and couldn’t believe our luck. After a chat on the phone with Julie I looked forward to going on holiday instead of the worry I usually felt. They arrived on time and I felt I’d known them for ages. Rupert walked up to them and then went and laid down, he was comfortable with them straight away. Julie sent loads of pictures of Rupert during the holiday and he was really having a great time. On returning the house was immaculate, even the hob on the cooker was shiny (I can never get it to look that good)!! The bedding had been washed and Rupert looked so well and happy. I can’t thank them enough for the peace of mind they have given us so we could really enjoy our holiday. A truly amazing couple who I hope can sit for us again in the future.
