Hi, we are Julie and Jonathan  – professional and experienced providing a reliable in-home house and pet sitting service to pet owners throughout Norfolk including Norwich, Aylsham, Cromer, Hunstanton, Thetford, Great Yarmouth, Fakenham and Kings Lynn and all the little villages in between.

We have been full time house and pet sitters for over 5 years. Our pet sitting assignments have taken us around the globe as far as Australia, New Zealand and America. We have experience of caring for animals large and small, dogs, cats, rodents, farm animals, fish, poultry and insects. We cover the whole of Norfolk and our aim is to provide the very best in-home pet sitting service available in the UK.

Our Service

We are incredibly flexible with our time, making it possible for us to take on single or repeated, short or long term pet sits all over the Norfolk. From the moment you book us as your house and pet sitters you can be guaranteed that your special fur babies will have a great holiday in their own home in your absence. We send regular WhatsApp messages, photos and video clips re-assuring you that your pets are having a really happy time while you are away. We give 110% to every sit we take on, ensuring we keep to the owners normal pet routines and are happy to continue puppy training or give daily medication.

We were both raised in Wells-next-the-sea on the North Norfolk Coast where pets were a big part of family life including dogs, cats, gerbils, mice, hamsters, rabbits, chickens and horses.

We’ve certainly looked after some amazing pets. From a small hobby farm in Bergh Apton to a cat and chicken sit in Rollesby on the Norfolk Broads.

Dog & Puppy Sitting

Our dog sitting experience included of caring for rescue dogs, young puppies, canines who need regular medication and pups with anxiety. Comfortable with all K9 breeds, having sat for numerous dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes, various large breeds including a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, St Bernard, Dogue de Bordeaux, Rottweiler, Doberman, Old English Sheep Dog and a German Shepherd/Pitbull Cross. We’ve also looked after small breeds too including Minature Dachshund’s, Chihuahua, Coton de Tulear and Cavapoo’s. As well as many other breeds of Oodles, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Spaniels, Terriers, Weimaraner’s, Boxers, Collies and multiple cross breeds.

Cat & Kitten Sitting

Having numerous cat and kitten sits under our belts and owning our own queens and tomcats in the past, we feel right at home with a feline family member on a pet sitting assignment. Changing litter trays, administering medication, daily brushing and cat cuddles come naturally to us and we can re-assure you that even if your kitty is one of many animals in your household, they won’t feel at all left out. They can be assured of lots of our time whenever they feel like some lap time or just want someone to talk to. If you are new to having in-house sitters caring for your pets, don’t worry, we have had lots of first timers and we go to great lengths to re-assure them and make sure they have a great first experience as we did with owners from Wymondham and Trimingham on our Norfolk pet sits.

Pet Sitting

We can take care of any pets you might have – from dogs and cats to horses, pigs and chickens! We will give all your pets the love and attention they need. We will feed, walk, cuddle and play with your pets as if they were our own!

Home Security

Being live-in pet sitters, we make sure that your home is secure while you are away. We also take care of your plants, bring in the mail and take out your rubbish. We make sure that your home is as clean and tidy as you left it.

Puppies & Rescue Dogs

We have puppy experience, from keeping up with training to cleaning up accidents. Jonathan has also completed a Canine Behaviour Course including easing anxiety in rescue dogs. We'll keep to your pups routines.

Insured & Security Checked

We are fully insured for looking after your pets and home. We have been DBS checked and along with our reviews will give you full reassurance of our trustworthiness, reliability and experience.

We think so! Pets have to be happier in the comforts of their own home, in their regular routine – and that’s exactly where they’ll stay when you find them a trusted house sitter. You can be guaranteed that the Norfolk Pet Sitters will ensure your pets in there own home have the best time while you are away.

Our rates vary depending on the number of pets, responsibilities and requirements.  As a guide our house sitting rates start from £50 per day / part day. For accurate overnight and weekly pet sitting quotations please get in touch. This includes us staying in your home while you’re away, caring for ONE pet and ensuring your property is secure and maintained. It also includes small daily tasks such as watering plants, bringing in mail and putting out rubbish bins. 

We try and make it as simple as possible. If you would like to have us sit for you, we will send you our reservation terms to secure your booking with us. To ensure things run smoothly we try and ensure we have everything we need before the sit start date. This includes details about the pets routines and feeding requirements, information about your home which would be useful to us, key collection/arrival time, contact instructions while you are away.

We send regular WhatsApp messages, photos and video clips re-assuring you that your pets are having a really happy time while you are away. We will pre-arrange this with you before you leave and check how frequent you would like contact from us.
